Member use of shared branching is still increasing for most of our credit unions, but not as quickly as mobile transactions. And remote deposits are growing by leaps and bounds.
How do I know this? I just spent some time looking at the CUSN statistics on www.cusn.com. The new reports break transactions out by product, so you can easily see the usage for shared branching, mobile, remote deposit capture, member center and kiosks.
Log in to www.cusn.com, click CU Network Resources and then CUSN Statistics. There are four different reports.
Want to look at statistics at a National level? Look under CO-OP Shared Branching Reports at the CUSC Ranking Report. You’ll be able to compare your credit union to credit unions across the country.
Our website is for our credit unions only and is password protected. If you need a password, contact Diana at firstname.lastname@example.org or Trisha at email@example.com.]]>
- The YTD report shows the number of monthly transactions by product and credit union. There’s a tab for issuing transactions and a tab for acquiring transactions
- Network Dollar Stats is a quick way to see how much your credit union processed in deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- The reports, Transactions by Type, show you the number of transactions broken down by type of transaction. There’s an acquirer version and an issuer version.

Docebo is what our new Learning Management System is called. What's a Learning Management System you ask? Well...
It's basically an online university, where we host our e-learning training modules for our credit unions, with courses like "Adjustments," "Mystery Shop," and "Funds Availability." These are great resources for shared branching credit union staff and are updated frequently to include the latest rules and changes.
We recently relocated to Docebo, which is based out of Milan, but has offices here in the US for support. What's so nice about having a learning management system like Docebo is the functionality. We can now organize our courses based on state and credit union. Reports showing student scores and other data can be whipped up in a breeze, and exported into Excel. Each student has their own individual login and password. The platform is located in the cloud, too, so we didn't need to install software - which is awesome.
We are excited about rolling it out and have been preparing it for quite some time now. Let us know what you think!

Pens were scribbling like crazy at our annual meeting this year. Between big initiatives at CUSN and a robust discussion by guest speaker Frank Diekmann, publisher of Credit Union Journal, we were all writing in shorthand. Thank goodness for an ample paper supply.
It was literally impossible to keep up with Frank on his speaking topic "25 Ideas That are Working in Credit Unions." It was one gem after another, crammed into a hour. And we certainly couldn't cover it all in one blog post...so we will be updating you throughout the year on some of Frank's ideas, in a shorter, easily digestible format. Stay tuned for more.
Check out some of our photos from the event! Were you there? Let us know in the comments below.
Have you heard Mr. Diekmann present before? What did you think?
