Accounting Spotlight - Brian Biaesch

November 20, 2015

giphy Our Accounting Department here at CU Service Network continues to grow! Today we would like to introduce you to Brian Biaesch, Accountant I. Brian juggles a full-time course schedule with working at CU Service Network - he is a pro at time management. Let's learn more: brian "I recently started working in the credit union industry this past April. I am currently an accountant and work on anything and everything ranging from daily balancing processing to monthly reconciliations to corporate balancing. Working with credit unions has been a great experience, and always keeps me on my toes as credit unions do the same processes a little bit differently. This upcoming December I will be graduating from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. When I first attended college I wasn’t sure of the plan I wanted to take until I took Principles of Accounting. It opened my eyes, and I realized that numbers and spreadsheets would be a passion of mine. Along with spreadsheets, sports have been a passion of mine since I was a kid. Playing sports throughout my life has really taught me that teamwork is one of the best ways to accomplish a task. Being able to communicate effectively and having the skills to collaborate makes a strong team whether it is on the baseball field or the office. I have kept busy these last couple of months working with a wide range of credit unions, finishing up my last semester of college, and also becoming recently engaged, and I wouldn’t change a thing."  ]]>
