We are excited to introduce our newest employee and member of our compliance team, Jamin Carlisle. Jamin is now part of our East Coast compliance office in Woodbridge, VA, in the D.C. area. Our outsourced compliance service continues to grow, and with credit union clients from coast to coast, we needed an additional compliance officer! He comes from a very strong credit union compliance background, and we are confident he'll provide the stellar service our compliance offering is known for. Let's learn more about him.
I’m originally from the tiny town of Del Rio, Tennessee, where I graduated high school alongside the same people with whom I started kindergarten. After graduation, I moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee where I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Shortly after finishing college, I began working first in banking compliance before moving to a credit union compliance department, earning my Credit Union Compliance Expert certification along the way.
While working in credit union compliance, I had the opportunity to develop vendor management and disaster recovery programs from the ground up and help overhaul the credit union’s BSA/AML program. I provided BSA and Compliance training to both small groups of new employees and the entire staff of around 350 people. I gave presentations for community groups, local college and high school classes, as well as business lunch and learn programs and was a founding member of East TN Elderwatch Coalition - a group of financial, healthcare, and law enforcement professionals who pushed for both education and legislation regarding elder abuse.
When not 'compliancing,' I enjoy live music, painting, pub quiz nights, collecting vinyl LPs, and tending to my only child - a bulldog named Beulah."
Welcome, Jamin! We are glad that you are part of our team.
